Sundays, beginning January 8, 7:00pm, Akron

The Gathering is the newest addition to The Chapel’s many Sunday service offerings. The service itself is anything but new. For over a decade, The Gathering has been the centerpiece of a thriving college ministry here at The Chapel. Over the past five years, this service has more than doubled in size and continues to be a primary way in which we reach out to the thousands of college students right next door. 

However, starting on January 8, this service will be moving from its current Thursday nighttime slot, to Sunday nights at 7:00pm, and it will be opened up to the church as a whole. The service will continue to be the primary service of our college ministry but it will also be a service that is open to all ages and walks of life. We confidently expect this to be a place where people of all ages can gather to connect with God and do life together as we try to advance the Kingdom of God in Akron and around the world.
