We are a church that believes that God answers prayer! We’re privileged to be able to bring our praises and requests directly to God’s presence. Join us in praying … or let us know how we can pray for you. Contact Us!
“Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” James 5:16
We know that when hard times come, you need the support of other believers—even if all we can do is pray. Know that we desire to pray you through your difficulty—whether it be sickness, injury, bankruptcy, divorce, a troubled teenager, job loss or death.
Let us know how we can pray by either emailing your prayer requests or call the Prayer Line at 330.315.5617.
If you are in need of emergency pastoral assistance after office hours, please call 330.376.6400 and you will be directed in how to reach our answering service.
“Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14
If you wish to have a special time of prayer and have a pastor pray for you and anoint you with oil, please call the Care Office at 330.315.5462.
Unite with others in weekly prayer and watch God move in our lives, the church, and our community. Pray at either campus in the Conference Room, 6:45pm on Wednesdays.
Join or organize an “E-Prayer Cell Group” of 4-6 people with a team leader. You will receive prayer requests by email and pray where you are. Contact info to Fred Tan or call 330.315.5457.
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11
Pray this for our pastors! Our church leaders need your prayers as they preach, teach, counsel and lead our church. See a list of our staff leaders. Use this prayer guide to pray for our pastors.
“Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.” Ephesians 6:19
Our missionaries need God’s strength as they strive to bring the Gospel to people in other lands. A prayer calendar is available at the welcome centers on the last Sunday of the month.
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18
Each campus has a Prayer Team that meets each Sunday (8:20 am at Akron and 8:20 am, Prayer Room at Green) to pray for the morning’s services and classes. Everyone’s welcome to come join in prayer. Contact Amy at 330.315.5510, Akron or Sandy at 330.315.5950, Green.
Have a friend or family member currently serving in the military? We would love to add him or her to our list for prayer and encouragement. Submit contact information to Fred Tan.
Five days per week, call one or two other women to share prayer requests. Contact Billie Davies, 330.315.5462.

Led by pastors and leaders of The Chapel, “Prayer Partners” meets every Friday at 6:30 am at the Akron and Green campuses. Pick any Friday and join one of four prayer teams at either campus. Come partner with men to pray for Sunday, our church, our leaders and each other.

World Changers is a warm, welcoming group of people who really care about missions and missionaries. The meetings begin with a light meal and friendly conversation. After the casual meal, a missionary guest gives a fresh report about the ministry. Prayer for them and other missionaries follows. Prayer guides are provided.
World Changers meets monthly. In order to adequately prepare food, reservations are required. Call Judi at 330.315.5473 for information on the next meeting and to make your free reservation.
