Hopeful Changes This Summer

There are plenty of seasons that close with little or no hope: the Browns (or Cavs or Indians) limping into the offseason, the fall giving way to winter, or the last episode of Seinfeld. Our children’s ministry, Chapel Kids, is proud to serve the youngest “members” of our church family! With specialized programming for everyone from birth through Grade 5, you’re sure to find something for every child in your household! Volunteer Opportunities

The Bible commands all of us to serve others–not only is it fun and rewarding, but it’s what Christ did, and we should strive to be like him. If you have an hour to spare on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, or throughout the week, we’d love to have you join our team! We encourage you to use your God-given gifts to contribute to the church!

We currently have the following volunteer opportunities available:

High Voltage Crowd Control (Sit with kids.)
Elementary Worship Leader (We sing really cool songs!)
Actors for High Voltage Kids Church (It’s way too fun!)
Preschool Bible Storytellers (Sharing God’s Word is exciting.)
Check-in Desk (Helping new families check-in.)
Safety Team (Keep our hallways safe and secure.)

The Parent Cue Collection

One of the primary goals within Chapel Kids is to equip parents with the tools they need in order to help their children develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. One of our favorite tools is our Parent Cue collection. This collection includes Small Talk cards, God Time worksheets, and Refrigerator Door cards—if you’re on the Chapel Kids email distribution list, you’re probably quite familiar with some or all of these!
