Akron Extension
Degree Programs
The Chapel hosts an extension site for Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. Students can earn a Master’s of Arts in Christians Studies, a Master’s of Arts in Ministry, or a Certificate in Biblical Studies from our Akron site. If you’re not interested in pursuing a degree program you can still benefit by auditing classes.
Course Times
Weeknight classes meet as indicated under course descriptions. Weekend classes normally meet 7:00–9:30pm on Fridays and 8:30–4:30pm on Saturdays unless otherwise indicated.
Tuition
Regular tuition for the 2013–2014 academic year is $400 per semester hour of credit. Tuition for non-credit (those not earning graduate-level credit) is $225 per course. Please visit Trinity’s website for information about full-time ministry scholarships and discounts. Returning students can register for courses on their own through the FirstClass Trinet software, downloadable at trinet.tiu.edu. Contact Joey Martin for more information on our local extension.
