August is the last month of our fiscal year. We are in need of $411,000 for the Chapel Ministries fund. Please help!
The Fall Blitz is an exciting opportunity for Chapel attenders to learn about Chapel growth and service opportunities for 2008–2009. Tents will be set up on Chapel Drive, North Entrance (Akron Campus) and the D Entrance (Green Campus). Ministry representatives will be available to answer questions and help you get connected. You will be able to register for classes and events.
Veterans and those with disabilities at 9:00am at Akron will have shuttle rides in antique cars and golf carts from the parking lot off of Chapel Drive toward Market. (The tents will be in the disability spaces.)
The Fall Blitz will take place Sundays, August 24, 31, and September 7, 8:30am–12:15pm and 6:15–8:00pm (Akron Campus); 8:30am–12:15pm (Green Campus). Be sure to stop by!

The 24th Annual Labor of Love Run will be held on Labor Day, Monday, September 1 (Akron Campus). Participate in the one-mile Fun Run/Walk at 8:30am. Families are welcome to run, walk, pull children in wagons, etc. Or run in the five-mile race at 9:00am. Relay teams are welcome.

Volunteers are needed to donate items for door prizes; to bake cookies to drop off at either campus on August 24 or 31; to help out with registration, t-shirt distribution, and water stations; and to cut fruit or assist at the cookie station. Contact .
All adult, youth, and kids' midweek programming will resume Wednesday, September 3, and we are excited about this fall's lineup!
Adults can choose from The Well Equips for women, The Arena for men, Christianity Explored for new believers, Marriage Matters, Deeper Study with our senior pastors, midweek ABFs, and more! There are also great programs for kids and youth.
