Care Ministries and Support Groups

 

Care Ministries

Care Ministries exists to provide physical care, spiritual care, and encouragement for all Chapel members and friends during times of special need.

Our Care staff as well as 116 hospital visitation volunteers, 56 deacons and their wives and 55 volunteers visiting shut-ins provide excellent ministries.

Baptism

Classes beginning in September. Pre- registration is required. Contact Billie Davies, 330.315.5462. Register here.

Care Deacons

The care deacon ministry is managed through Care Ministries.

Communion

Communion is held the first Sunday of every month. We offer gluten-free bread at:  The Akron Campus North Lobby Guest credenzas, Fir Hill Welcome Center and Resonate Service Foyer.  The Green Campus Atrium Welcome Center.

Visitation

We provide prayer with a pastor before surgery, daily hospital visitation by a pastor or a visitation team, and regular visitation of the elderly and shut-ins (those confined to their homes). If you or a loved one would like a visit, contact Billie Davies, 330.315.5462..
