Made to Crave: Satisfying Your Deepest Desire with God, Not Food by Lysa TerKeurst

Are you ready to make a fresh start and invite God into your eating?  Made to Crave is the missing link between a woman’s desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen. The reality is we were made to crave. Craving isn’t a bad thing. This study addresses spiritual issues behind eating and offers practical guidance for a healthy eating plan.  The goal is more character change than weight loss—helping you find the “want to” in making healthy lifestyle choices.

Ongoing Bible Studies

  • Various leaders/locations, September 20 – April 30
  • “Ears to Hear: The Parables of Jesus” by Cara Smith.
  • For women who desire to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ in a group setting. Tapestry uses in-depth, inductive Bible study to uncover the truth of God’s Word. Commitment to meeting weekly for both the fall and winter/spring sessions is required. There will be at least one hour of preparation necessary outside of group time each week.
  • See full description HERE.
  • Choose You This Day
  • Led by Brenda Mitchell
  • Wednesdays, 9:30am, Amphitheater
  • Thursday evenings, 6:30, Room 104 (open to men and women)
  • Joshua 24:15. The study will juxtapose God’s plan for humanity against the devil’s schemes to thwart God’s plan. We have a choice between God and His established order, and everything else, which all lumps together as being part of the enemy’s strategy. It’s about choosing which side you are on and living accordingly instead of waffling between the two out of ignorance.

Saturday, April 25, 2015 | Camp Carl, Ravenna, OH

This day retreat is designed to help you enter more fully into the process of spiritual growth and intimacy with God.  We all need time alone with God.  Often despite our best efforts, this intimate time with God gets crowded out of our busy lives.  We will have sessions to help you:

  • Reflect on what you have learned and experienced of God over the past year
  • Renew your devotion to Christ as the lover, redeemer and transformer of your soul
  • Refresh your spirit through times of guided prayer and worship.

Save the date for this special day of fellowship and spiritual renewal.  Keep your eyes open for more details and registration this spring.
