Adults

 

The Chapel is about people. People who have met Jesus Christ and know their lives will never be the same. People who serve, love, and encourage one another. People who worship together. People who push and challenge one another to a deeper relationship with God.

We offer many ways to meet people and grow in faith in groups such as our ABFs and Small Groups. We also have specific ministries that focus on women, men, singles, and college students.

 

ABFs and HABFs

Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) and Home Adult Bible Fellowships (HABFs) are mid-sized groups of between 15 and 90 people who meet to learn, extend care, and serve together.

There are 60 ABFs grouped by stage of life and age. We have 13 HABFs that are grouped geographically that meet in homes throughout the area.

Midweek Opportunities

Great learning and growing activities, discussions, and classes with varying topics for men and women of all ages in friendly group settings. All Midweek Opportunities occur on Wednesday evenings at both Akron and Green campuses, 6:45–8:15 pm. Child care, children's and youth programming is also available. Visit our midweek page.

 

Sunday Electives

Great classes with varying topics for men and women of all ages are offered Sundays each month at both campuses. For a list of current Sunday electives, contact Anita Robertson.

 

Abundant Living 55+

Abundant Living is for men and women age 55+. It's specifically designed to aid you in making life-phase transitions. We are committed to contributing to your growth, happiness, and success as together we develop ways to live out the great command and the great commission. Visit our Abundant Living page.

 

Women’s Ministries

Women’s Ministries wants to see women inspired in worship, included in community, and involved in mission. We know that sometimes women need time away to be together to laugh, to share hurts, and to study God’s word. We provide weekly opportunities for worship and Bible study through The Well and through specialized studies. We also have special events such as the Ladies' Christmas Tea and Women's Conferences.

Men’s Ministries

In Men’s Ministries, it is our goal to equip, empower, and inspire men to passionately follow Jesus Christ. In wim we find our identity and our mission. We have lots of ways that you can get involved in our events including The Arena, a great place for discussion and small-group Bible study; and Prayer Partners, a time of prayer with Paul Sartarelli and the campus pastors.
