Campus Adult Bible Fellowships - CABFs

 

All Ages

City Lights—Akron, Martin Center Middle Room, 10:40 am
We exist to teach sound doctrine to all people - socially, economically, ethnically and culturally. Seeking to be evangelical in the city of Akron through local outreach, we build into the lives of every believer through discipleship lived out within the church and in the local community. Cords of Three PM—Akron Campus, Fellowship Hall, 5:30 pm
We are a larger group of over 40 people of all ages, married and single, and we have a teaching style that is discussion oriented. Sign up for this CABF.

Family Connections—Akron Campus, Great Commission Room, 6:45 pm on Wednesdays
All ages and stages of life, our class studies and discusses books of the Bible. We are a very personable and giving group who love to help each other and minister to those with needs. We support global missionaries and locally we help adopted members financially. Sign up for this CABF.

Growing Together—Green Campus, Room 123, 10:40 am
Primarily empty nesters, we are comfortable in adventure and serious students of God’s Word. We’re active in ministry, and passionate about prayer. Our teaching method is both discussion-oriented and lecture. We welcome you to join us! Sign up for this CABF.

Inter@ct—Green Campus, Room 123, 9:00 am
30 - 60’s and a variety of couples and singles, we include both topical and Bible studies in our class. We’re a very social group outside of class and have lots of intellectually challenging discussion on Sundays as well as support missionaries and First Glance. Sign up for this CABF.

Joyful Noise—Green Campus, Room 211, 10:40 am
We’re a socially eclectic ABF that was started to accommodate Chapel worship team members and their families, as well as visitors. We utilize Bible-focused teaching, encouraging group participation. We’ve adopted missionaries and serve locally too. We welcome you to join us! Sign up for this CABF.

Kindred Spirit—Akron Campus, Orchestra Room, 10:40 am
We are a herd of old goats, some of whom have been together since ABFs were invented! From early thirties to seventies we are bound by our love for Christ, one another and those that the Lord sends in our direction. We enjoy making people feel at home in our class. Sign up for this CABF.

Ladies ABF at Akron—Akron Campus, Room 261, 10:40 am
We’re all ages, and all walks of life: single, married, widowed, divorced, etc. We study the Bible in discussion format and do activities monthly to get to know one another better on a more personal level. We support many missionaries and serve locally. Sign up for this CABF.

Ladies ABF at Green—Green Campus, Room 210, 10:40 am
Our ABF is made up of ladies of all ages: single, divorced, married, and widows who are at all points in their Christian walk. We incorporate discussion-based study, take time to pray, and are quick to support anyone going through difficulty. We support missionaries and serve locally. Sign up for this CABF.

Running to Win—Green Campus, Room 222, 9:00 am
Our ABF is mid-life families and singles who are all about relationships and genuinely care about each other. We have adopted a missionary family in England and serve at the Greenview Inn Nursing Home. Sign up for this CABF.

Together in Christ—Akron Campus, Martin Center Library, 10:40 am
Mostly in our 40’s and 50’s, we’re a smaller and intimate group with both married couples and singles. We enjoy having visitors and will welcome anyone! Our teaching style is lecture oriented. In addition to individual outside ministries, we support missionaries and help maintain the local missionary house. Sign up for this CABF.
